I needed to get errands and domestic chores done today and all my local stores were closed. Blasted to all hell! How DARE they!
Ok, j/k of course. I was actually surprised. Not many places close for holidays anymore.

Last week I was so mad because when I got back into town at 0700 after being on the road everything was closed that day because it was holiday monday.
After the 5 days I had just gone through my Rx was a bottle of wine, a good book and good music.
Damn Wine Store wasn’t open.
Jay was not a happy camper!
I am not going to complain. I realize it’s an inconvenience but I think our society has become to 24/7 and I rather wish we would revert to the old days on somethings. We might actually see a family be a family for a change.
It’s funny I remember growing up when stores were closed on Sunday or at least not 24/7 and at the time thought why aren’t they open all the time. Now at times I wish they would go back to the the way things were. Perhaps we could simplify our lives just a little.
