Already, our leader-in-bullshit is spinning the “positive” message that things are “ok”. Not to mention, Mommie Dearest going on TV speaking out her ass w/things like “…this might be a good thing for the people of NO”. What a stupid C*NT!
If you want to know the real hard truth of whats going on in NO, check out Bent Collective’s Blog. He is an emergency worker, like myself, who is down in the thick of it. Our leader may not know the meaning of honor and compassion but it’s nice to know there are still plenty of us left that do.
I think Babs was choking on her dentures. It’s only a good thing for the people of NO if the shelter and food they are provided aid in returning their week long malnourished state to the point it was before this disaster, and in most cases the goal is better than it was.
That’s because they will need all the defences they can to fight off the multitude of viral outbreak from a city covered by rancid water.
That undeniable truth is not being addressed if the hellish stench of decaying humans is any indication. As I write this I can look out the window of the medical clinic that has been home for seven days, and I can see many bodies that have yet to be moved. We just keep adding tarps until the soak rotting mess soaks through yet again. It needs to be noted this is also one of the areas they are housing people until other residential options can be verified.
Given that pesky reality we may want to prepare with an approach that is proactive. That however, in the context of whats been played out already, is a radical idea which is not likely to occur anytime soon, since aging blue haired ex first ladies seem to play out higher on the “to get to” list. I wish the news from here was better.

You know, I’m kinda glad that I didn’t see Babs’ little commentary. Because then I’d know that the whole lot of them are just stupid and ignorant. Of course if the storm had hit Texas or wherever she’s living these days, I’m positive that her story would be VERY different. Then again, with all the politicians saying the same thing… I don’t know if things would be different if GW wasn’t in power?
