One of my resolutions this year was to finally get the extra tattoos I’ve been wanting. I figured I’ll start off with a shot of my original one. Behold! The Mobius Strip. The origins of my blog name and nickname. [1]What? You thought Moby was my real name? Come on, just because I’m practically plugged in 24/7 doesn’t mean I’m stupid!
I’ve finally decided on the first of my new tattoos. I’m starting with the back of my forearms. Then the lower stomach. I may get one more after that but not sure yet.

Got some weird comments working there, Mobius. so, yeah, No, I totally knew that Moby was not your real name. No, Really, I did know that….
Um, nice lats. Got the V shape workin there man. Very nice.
LOL. They be gone now. Every now and then a few slip thru the filter. Oh and thanks!
OK, I confess. I thought it was Moby. If not Moby, then what? Sheesh. You think you KNOW someone, you know?
They are so addictive, I love my 6 tattoos – this year I will have to get me some more too.
Nice looking tatt. I have one and want another.
You mentioned where, but didn’t mention what you are going to get.
I have one small tattoo right above the fold of my left leg. Only two persons have seen it, and one was the tattooist. It is a Celtic symbol of unity. My partner has the same, in the same location. I like it.
Matt ~ I’m saving the “what” till I get’em. I’ll post pics for all to see of course.
I think a Penrose tiling or something M.C. Escher-ish would be really cool and would go with the mobius (get the whole intellectual mathematics theme going).
The ‘back of your forearms’ means… the top of your forearms or the underside of your forearms? Either place I heartily approve of.
As for the stomach tattoo– I always approach these with caution. Perhaps you are genetically lucky and you won’t ever sag there. I however, am not that lucky.
It is my philosophy to get tattoos where there is the least possibility of saggitude (shoulders, back, calf, thigh, forearms).
great site-and handsome pictures!
