1031

This is officially my 1031st post here at the ole blog. I meant to post this at the 1000 mark however, I got distracted and forgot. I’m winding up my 3rd year of blogging and still going strong. It has been an interesting three years to say the least. What started as a simple coping mechanism has turned into a very important part of my life.

I’ve met many friends over the last few years and hope to meet more. I’ve also had a chance to examine parts of myself and my life and make changes for the better.1 This past year, I’ve opened up a little more on the private parts of my life in an attempt to paint a better picture of what is to be me. Now, I’m wondering what’s next? Where do I go from here? Do I continue on this path w/the mundane and sometimes not so mundane?

I’ve toyed with the idea of doing a second and more commercialized blog. Mainly, as there are lots of things I want to branch into. I have more than enough space and bandwidth in my ISP package to handle it. But do I have the necessary time to devote to it? That is the big question I’m asking myself right now.

If you had a choice, what would you like to see more of here?

1 The jury is still out on that but I like to think so.

  1. I am a visual type person, so I always like to see pictures with my stories… otherwise, I really like you just the way you are (and your blog too… tee hee)… hope to see you when we head out for blogger summit in June

  2. to be honest with you Moby, a blog that’s exclusively about one’s own self and activities only would usually be dull and shallow.
However, I’ve felt for a long time that yours is so much different and more. You have a real knack of bringing the reader into your life/self/head that’s rare. Call it writer’s style or whatever. You have it. My Blogroll is fairly limited. I only read the best/most stimulating/interesting.
I’ll continue to look in as long as you keep writing it.
    Glad to read you!

  3. I may not always leave a reply but I enjoy all of your posts. The variety is what keeps it real and interesting so keep on doing what you’re doing.

Kudos on sticking with the blogging for so long. I do good to update once every few weeks or so….

    Huggers!

  4. Congratulations! I’ve just started reading your blog and am enjoying it so far. I’d say let it evolve. When the time is right for a major change you’ll know.

  5. Yeah, pics are always great. And I’m sure I’m not the only one who wonders how the nipple is doing. Other than that, keep on doing whatever moves you…

  6. “Where Am I?
Home from being bad! Well attempting to be bad…. 2 hrs ago
    Starbucks. 12 hrs ago ”

Let me guess; you got lucky at Starbucks?

  7. I think that you should keep going just as you have before. The thing I like most about reading blogs is the real life aspect of what people are doing. Seems to me that you have a lot of people that are intersted in your life (me included seeing that I check in regularly) and thus I think it best to keep doing what you are doing now. Honestly, I see to many people trying all kinds of fancy things in their blogs and deviating from one thing to the next. In the end it becomes to fragmented and then the reader loses interst trying to keep up. I agree with the idea of doing another blog if you want to branch into other topics.

  8. Congrats Moby! I’d like to think I’d be at that mark in three years but I am not so sure. The thoughts are elsewhere these days.

  9. Wow…over a thousand. i don’t think i will ever get there. As far as what we want more of…I’m content for you to give it to us any way you like big boy. 🙂
