Not the MAC version. I am referring to yours truly.
I have no idea what possessed me to snap a shot in the airplane bathroom but it just seemed like a good idea. My lovely phone cam is such high quality, can you tell?
As I mentioned earlier, the flights down were a tad stressful wondering if I was gonna make it but all went fine. Phoenix overall was great. The short description, hot and sticky. I also got to meet a new blog buddy, Brent, who I’ve been supporting/chastising for almost a year now. It took the act of Congress to drag Brent out to Charlie’s. Frank and I discovered it was his birthday weekend and were determined not to let him sulk at home.
Needless to say, I had a blast. lol Frank immediately ran into one of his friends named Steve. The man was the epitome of big hairy, muscular, beefy bear. He got a big WOOF! While him and Frank flirted, I was left to my own devices. A rather tall, lean fuzzy dude kept eye-balling me and before long he came over and said "hi". [1]By hi, I mean I put my tongue down his throat for about 10-15 minutes Being a good friend, I wasn’t about to abandon my group so we arranged for some quality time later. Of which, he flaked on. I’d already gotten the idea he might be a bit high maintenance but a hard cock has no conscience. [2]yes, you can borrow that
Frank was feeling better and we did make it to the gym one day. The gym was one of the Q gyms that 24 Hour Fitness gobbled up. The Q gyms have the exact same layout no matter where you go. I have to say, Phoenix has its share of hotties. The crowd was very mixed with several juicy tidbits for Frank and I to drool over. That said, I can report the shower and steam room was nothing like SF. A practical wasteland of emptiness. Well that is not exactly true. There were plenty of old trolls lurking in the steam room but just not the gay kind.
Frank opted to drive me around a bit. I doubt I’d ever move to Phoenix but not a bad City overall. Next time, I’d like to get in some hiking and outdoor stuff for sure.
From there I bounced down to Houston for the drive out East. My younger bro was doing much better health wise and back at work. He also just qualified for insurance at his new job so I stressed the importance of following up with a Cardiologist.
My little nephew and niece are growing like weeds. I do my best to spoil them when I’m there. I am also happy to say my Bro’s new girlfriend is a tad cleaner than the last. I could see the floor in every room this time.
As much as I love my family, after 2 days I was bored out of my skull. With limited internet access and nothing for miles, I went a little stir crazy. The family land is in an unincorporated area of the county. Even with all the growth in the last 20 years, I still had to approximate an address just to find it on Google maps. Anyway, I promptly drug my niece, nephew, and two 2nd cousins all over creation just to get out of the damn trailer. And just to give you an idea of how cheap East Texas is, dinner for 3 adults 4 kids at the neighboring towns ‘finest’ Mexican restaurant was $62.00 including tip.

Finally Friday arrived and I headed back into Houston. Tell it on the mountain, I was back in civilization! Out of boredom, I had changed my manhunt profile to reflect I was visiting. I had 52 messages when I logged in on Friday evening. Mind you, only about 10 were legit. There will be a "separate" post regarding Friday afternoon.
Saturday was the big event; my best bud Trevan’s 40th birthday. Trev celebrates his birthday with several of his friends who also have July birthdays. The party has become something of a sensation. I guess you can consider your party a hit when you find out several people plan pre-parties around your party. lol
It is hard to tell but the cake was massive and weighed about 30lbs. The party was a huge hit in my opinion. Being a sneaky bastard, I volunteered to be door monitor and got to hand out drink tickets. Needless to say, being in charge of free booze, I was very popular. I ran into several old friends I hadn’t seen in ages. I also made a few new ones in the process. One of the latter was Bill. Bill totally saved my bacon Sunday night.
Sunday day was spent at a pool party. Trev has filled the void I left in his life and become quite the social butterfly. The party was fun and it was sooo nice to enjoy the pool. However, three margaritas later I found myself eye-balling the only muscle hottie there (The pink shirt below). He seemed to like too and we spent some quality time making out in the pool. What? Don’t look at me like that. I am slut. I admit it, get over it already.
I was solo Sunday night as Trev had to turn in early for work the next day. [3]Finally, naughty time! I ran into a lean fuzzy bear at the Mining company. We both did a double then triple take of each other. I figured it was too good to pass up and went on the prowl. A few minutes later, I’m staring at him at across the bar with a big smile. We introduce ourselves, exchange pleasantries and then I’m mugging down with him. I think the kissing came faster than the Phoenix boy. lol That said, I was really impressed with the guy. I had as much fun talking and getting to know him as I did smooching on his soft lips. I did something completely out of character (yeah right!) and invited him to come visit me in SF. He has promised to visit at the end of August. I have a 3-day weekend scheduled so it would fit in nicely. I’ll let you know how it goes.
The guy had to take his friend home which should have been my cue to leave. NOT! Fifteen minutes later, I find myself flirting horribly with a hot Latin stud who’d been checking me out earlier. Sadly, since I was unwilling to drive all the way out to Katy to play with him, he promptly moved on.
Of course, no trip would be complete w/o some drama. I decided I’d had enough and headed out to my car. Or should I say where my car should have been. I had somehow parked in a tow-a-way zone. To top it off, my phone battery was dying. After several calls to Enterprise, the Houston Police, and the tow company, I located the vehicle way out in a rough part of town. There was no way in hell I was going to find it on my own. I was left with the choice of cabbing it to the airport and letting Enterprise nail me on the fees or call and wake Trev up. The latter was not an idea I relished. Missy can be quite the grump. On a whim, I went back into the bar and ran into Trev’s friend Bill who I had seen earlier. Bill was incredibly kind and not only drove me to pick up my car but also waited to make sure there were no complications. Turns out, he had a similar problem a year earlier and knew exactly where to go. He truly saved my hide and I felt honored to be called his friend. I hope to see more of him on future visits.
I got about 2 hours sleep that night as I had a 7:40am flight. Thankfully, I was off Monday and slept most of the day.
All in all, it was a good trip. I got to see family and friends. I also made some new friends along the way.
my god, all of that in one single trip? you’re one hell of a busy man. hope you took your vitamins.
The camera-phone picture ain’t so bad. I’m just wondering about what you doing in with the other hand.
Wow! You surely packed a lot of activities in one trip even though you mentioned that you were bored several times in the post. By the way, a 30-pound cake? That’s huge!
