California Supreme Court overturns gay marriage ban
History in the making folks! I’m sure it will get appealed but I am in tears right now. When I was younger, I never thought I’d see this type of equality in my lifetime.

I just heard this and it’s so awesome, but the pessimist in me wonders where this will go. My state NJ is pretty much set to rule in favor of marriage over our current defunct civil unions, but the Governor said he will not allow a rulling during the election year, cause he obviously knows what will happen. I just wonder how hard McCain and the other “pubs” will use this as a wedge issue in the election . . . again.

WooHoo! Congrats, Moby. I just wish NC was as progressive as CA. I would love to one day see the country have legalized same-sex marriages.

Let’s hope the proposed “one man one woman” amendment to the California Constitution fails to pass.
