I love the rain. Especially, warm rain. It is rare here in SF. Not a thunderstorm so much as just a good rain.
I’m off to bed with the windows open listening to the sounds of the rain falling.

I love the rain too, so why do I live in Phoenix???
Thunderstorms and rain here just aren’t like Thunderstorm in the South. Sometimes I miss those thunderstorms that roll in, when the wind starts to get wild, thunder and lighting ensueand then a deluge of rain until the storm sweeps by and cool crisp air is left in its wake.
I especially like this at night.
Raindrops on roses and whiskers on kittens
Bright copper kettles and warm woolen mittens…
Your post reminds me of that song from Sound of Music.
I like rain as well but coming back from Hawaii to this rain is a bit of an emptied-out kinda feeling!
