I went out and got a new microphone today. I hated the cheesey generic one that I was using before. I don’t sound quite as gay when you hear me now at least. (I always think I sound like such a fag but hey, I am)
What say you? Better or worse?

Shit, I sure hope you don’t sound “faggy”. I was playing your voice and my boyfriend thought it was a recording of me.
If you sound faggy…then I must sound like the Queen mother. (I mean, if she were still alive that is. And didn’t have a British accent.) I like your voice. I think it suits your picture. One of the cutest, most butch looking friends I have sounds like a valley girl when he opens his mouth. It’s like a needle across a record for me.
I don’t know what you sounded like before…but I think what I heard would sound nice softly in my ear. 🙂
You sound just fine. When you answer calls at work do you have a “professional” voice? When I worked at the campus information center at U Michigan I did.
